The 9th Annual Mike Gottman Youth Football Camp is a great opportunity for students in Grades 3rd through incoming 9th to learn the game of football at the high school level.

This camp is designed to incorporate FUNdamentals in teaching the various aspects of the game of football. This camp will challenge the campers to become students of the game and instill responsibility by learning to be successful on and off the field.

Camp Description
This camp is designed to help educate the middle school student-athlete about the game of football. The following is a list of skills that will be covered over the 4 day camp:
Stance, starts, Running form, Agility, Speed, Muscular Strength & Endurance, Throwing, Catching, Blocking, Ball Handling Skills, Back Pedaling, 7 on 7, and Team Flag Football.
Qualifications of Instructors
All of the camp instructors are Durant High School coaches and Hillsborough County employees. We have plenty of experience and knowledge about the game of football with close to 100 years of combined coaching experience. Our camp staff will do their best to get your son prepared for High School Football. Our goal is to make the camp a fun and exciting educational and athletic experience into the sport of football.
What Campers need to bring
Campers need to bring football cleats, athletic solid navy blue shorts, grey t-shirt, (if you have those colors). Towel, sunscreen, extra socks, underwear and a sack lunch. We will sell hot dogs, hamburgers, bananas, apples, chips and Gatorade if you want to purchase lunch from us. all athletes should drink 64 ounces of water per day, 5 consecutive days before coming to camp.
